Held at the Irish Eyes Restaurant Lewis, DE Jerry Klavens (Rehobch) had planned this event several months earlier but, as fate would have it, the Sussex County Event ended up happening just one week after the New Castle County Event. This was great timing. Several geocachers from Sussex had attended the New Castle County Event and several New Castle County geocachers traveled down to Lewis for the Sussex County Event. Result - a good way to emphasize that we are all Delaware Geocachers!

Jerry had placed an Event cache that kept early arrivals busy searching. It was a clever hide. Promptly at noon the indoor event began. Jerry addressed the group then made a presentation to Hostanut on behalf of the Delaware Geocachers to mark Hostanut's 500th find. Drrichardh was asked to address the group to tell them a bit about the Delaware Geocachers Web Site. Then everyone settled into some find food.

Afterward there was time for socializing at the restaurant before groups gathered to go out into the field for some additional geocaching. The whole event was well done and everyone had a great time.
