The Title of a cache site often contains hints. There may a pun or two in there that add clues to the site location.

Consider using one of the camouflaged Geocaching labels on your cache container. These come in many different sizes. They provide a clear identification to geocachers and muggles that this container has special significance.

Check on your site periodically to make sure it is in good shape. Checking the logs on geocaching.com is one way but it's also a good idea to go out to your site and make sure that the site is not becoming abused.

If you find that you cannot maintain a site for any reason, consider putting it up for adoption. You've spent a good deal of time and effort creating your site. It would be a shame to see it disappear. There may be several other Delaware Geocachers willing to adopt your site and keep it going.

Do NOT bury your cache container. Hiding it under a pile of leaves or stones is ok but not seekers should be encouraged to have to dig holes in the ground.

Never put food or objects with food-like odors in your cache container. Animal noses are much more sensitive than humans noses. Animals in the wild have to hunt for everything they eat. They will do amazing things to get at something that appears to be tasty. Your cache container might become a casualty.
