I wanted to creat a place to say thanks to all the people who worked so hard on the Colonial Hundreds Cache Challenge!!!

The challenge took many of us to places we didn't know about, and probably never would have been to.  I really had no idea how beautiful southern Delaware is!  
I know it must have been very time consuming, not to mention stressful organizing such a large event as this and I really REALLY appreciate all that you did for the geocachers in this area!!

Yes, THANK YOU to everyone who worked so hard on this event.
I cannot imagine how many hours were spent organizing, and working on this event for Delaware!
Thank you to everyone who hid a box, for RunFrog for creating the boxes, and especially to the organizers of the event.
It was a creative and clever idea, and really made me appreciate the small wonder!
What a great state we live in!

I'd really like to express my appreciation to everyone who participated in the challenge.  You guys made helping out with this really fun.  The stress that showed through was only frustration that we couldn't make things perfect. Our enjoyment of getting to help put on something like this for the club FAR outweighed the little misunderstandings along the way.  I would encourage any of the DE Geocaching members to get involved with an event or challenge without hesitation.  We have a fantastic group of friendly and very passionate geocaching folks and in my opinion our club is ONE OF THE BEST THERE IS!  So what if we get a little rowdy at times?  Our club is the best, we know it, and we have plenty of geocaching fun!!!

P64 and I were more visible than some of the others, but we had lots of help.  Runfrog painted all those boxes (although I hear he was responsible for any and all problems that happened  :) ), Mike Ott provided plenty of support in uncountable ways, and Richard Sutor, our webmaster, quietly provided the forum technology and website updates for us.  GPSFUN, our reviewer, kept us legal with Groundspeak, and all the cache hiders that picked great spots, kept the boxes full and the logs checked.

I am really looking forward to the event this weekend (No rain on Saturday, no rain on Saturday!!!) and getting together with everyone again.  I'm thinking it's going to be one of the best events this club has done yet!!

Echo and Ditto everything above - I know The Dinobalz had lots of hours in working on this and like he said many others behind the scenes ..... I had a great caching partner for most of the hundreds and a most memorable weekend getting all of them below the canal (making my 500th also). Thanks all !!!

It's a shame this turned into what it did.
The intention when This started was to make it an Annual event, but after trying to organize such an undertaking and seeing that all the effort for me personally was NOT worth it. I hope maybe one of the more PERFECT geocachers can do this again some time, because I know that the PERFECT ones would have thought of everything and ran into no problems, and if they did they would have had a solution all ready that would have pleased EVERYONE. I know this post is going to just irritate the heck out of some folks and it will probably end up being deleted. The whole thing has just served to sour me on the whole game. Again I want to publicly apologize to Jill for my response to her post it was inappropriate for my position on this forum and I should not have let my emotions control my post. Well that is about as polite as I could be in expressing my feelings about the whole thing. Good luck to you all and have fun because that is what this is SUPPOSED to be about.

We would absolutely love to thank all involved also . We had a terrific time doing the challenge. The kids really learned alot and so did we. Ya know, there's no reason that this, or something similar to this challenge can't happen again, because we are all wiser as to how to plan things. It was a learning project and the bugs are pretty well worked out. Have a great time at the final. and as always...Happy Hunting!

We wanted to say a big thank you to all the organizers that put together the C.A.C.H.E. across Delaware.  We have learned soo much about Delaware and gone to places we would have never even thought about going to.  Being fairly new to geocaching it was a really great event to start out with .  Again, thank you and now I can place faces to names!!
